This article explains how to check whether API access is included in your current subscription and what steps to take to get it enabled. API access on Search Atlas is tied to your plan level, so the process depends on what you currently have active.

📍 Where to Find It

You can review your current plan and available features by navigating to: Top-right corner (avatar) → Billing → Plans & Top-ups tab. Here you will see your active subscription, options to Manage Subscription or Change Plan, and any available add-ons.

🛠️ Step-by-Step

1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the platform to open the Avatar Menu (👤).
2. Select Billing, then click the Plans & Top-ups tab.
3. Review your current plan details to check whether API access is listed as an included feature.
4. If API access is not included in your current plan, click Change Plan to explore plans that include it, or click Manage Subscription to discuss an upgrade with the billing system.
5. If your plan states that API access should be included but it is not yet active, proceed to contact support using the method below so the team can enable it on your account directly.

✅ How to Confirm It Worked

Once API access is enabled on your account, you should be able to locate your API credentials or key within your account settings. Confirm access by checking that an API key is visible and that requests made using that key return successful responses rather than authentication errors. If you upgraded your plan, your Plans & Top-ups tab should reflect the new plan name with API access listed as an active feature.
