# **🌐 Overview**

Many teams want to pipe Search Atlas data — including AI visibility metrics — into data warehouse or analytics platforms such as Power My Analytics, BigQuery, Looker Studio, or similar tools. This article explains what is currently supported, what limitations exist, and how to get your data flowing in the meantime.

# **🤖 What the Search Atlas MCP Integration Does (and Does Not Do)**

Search Atlas offers an MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration designed to connect the platform with AI assistants like Claude. This integration lets AI tools query your Search Atlas data conversationally — for example, pulling keyword rankings, AI visibility scores, or backlink data directly inside an AI chat interface.

**However, the MCP integration is not built for ETL pipelines or data warehouse ingestion.** It is not designed to:

- Push data automatically into platforms like Power My Analytics, BigQuery, or Snowflake
- Act as a native connector or data source within third-party analytics dashboards
- Schedule recurring data syncs to an external warehouse

If you are trying to use the MCP connection as a bridge into Power My Analytics or a similar platform, this workflow is not currently supported and will not produce reliable results.

# **📦 Current Options for Getting Search Atlas Data into a Data Warehouse**

While a native connector for Power My Analytics does not yet exist, you have several practical paths available today.

**Option 1 — Manual CSV Export and Upload**

1. Navigate to the relevant report inside Search Atlas (for example, a keyword tracking table or AI visibility report).
2. Use the export option available within that report to download your data as a CSV file.
3. Upload or import the CSV into your data warehouse or analytics platform using that platform's standard import workflow.
4. Repeat on whatever cadence your reporting requires (daily, weekly, etc.).

This is the most reliable method available right now and works with any platform that accepts flat-file imports, including Power My Analytics.

**Option 2 — Request a Native Connector**

Search Atlas actively develops new integrations based on customer demand. If Power My Analytics or another data warehouse platform is critical to your workflow, submitting a formal connector request is the fastest way to move it up the roadmap. See the section below for how to do this.

**Option 3 — Use the MCP Integration for Ad Hoc AI Queries**

If your goal is to analyze Search Atlas data with AI — rather than store it in a warehouse — the MCP integration with Claude is well suited for that use case. You can ask natural-language questions about your rankings, AI visibility, and backlink data without exporting anything. This does not replace a data warehouse workflow, but it may cover your analytical needs depending on your objectives.

# **📋 How to Request a Native Connector for Power My Analytics or Another Platform**

1. Go to **Home** using the left sidebar.
2. Locate the **Submit** action on the Home dashboard.
3. Describe your integration request clearly — include the platform name (e.g., Power My Analytics), your use case (e.g., daily AI visibility data sync to a data warehouse), and any technical requirements you are aware of.
4. Submit the request. The Search Atlas product team reviews all submissions and prioritizes based on demand volume.

The more detail you provide about your workflow and the business impact, the more useful your submission will be for the team evaluating it.

# **📤 Tips for Manual Exports While You Wait for a Native Connector**

- **Export consistently:** Set a recurring reminder to export on the same schedule your warehouse expects fresh data, so reports stay accurate.
- **Label your files clearly:** Include the date range and report type in the file name (e.g., `ai-visibility-2026-08-01-to-2026-08-07.csv`) to avoid confusion when uploading multiple files.
- **Check field mapping:** When importing into Power My Analytics or a similar tool, confirm that column headers from the Search Atlas export match the field names your destination platform expects. Rename columns in the CSV before uploading if needed.
- **Combine with other sources:** Data warehouse platforms like Power My Analytics are designed to blend multiple data sources. Your Search Atlas CSV exports can sit alongside Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or paid media data for a unified view.

# **🔍 Refreshing Your Data in Search Atlas**

Before exporting, make sure you are working with the most current data available. Go to **Home** using the left sidebar and select **Refresh data** to trigger an update across your active projects. This ensures your CSV export reflects the latest rankings and AI visibility figures.
