## ✨ What's New in Content Genius V3

1. **Domain Knowledge Network (DKN) integration** from OTTO v3: each page surfaces **4–5 target keywords**; the **first 3** flow directly into Content Genius for article creation.
2. **Vibe Coding for DKN**: adjust titles, page types, sections, or categories using **natural-language** edits, then generate articles in Content Genius.
3. **Infographic Diagram Microagent**: convert any article into an **entity/relationship diagram** instantly.
4. **"Add Hero" button**: select an AI-generated or stock **hero image** for every article. Generated images are **watermark-free**; hero images with **embedded text** are treated as a ranking signal (per internal research on searchatlas.com blog posts), so the editor prioritizes text-bearing hero variants in its ranking suggestions.
5. **Alphabetical Content Folders**: the folder list sorts A–Z for faster navigation in large libraries.
6. **Universal CMS Connectors** (username/password or API key; **no plugin required**) and **Universal CMS Plugins** (Drupal, HubSpot, Wix, Magento) let you publish directly from Content Genius.
7. **Bulk Generation Confirmation Window**: review and confirm bulk article jobs before generation begins, preventing accidental quota consumption.
8. **Conversational / Agentic Editing**: iterate on drafts through **natural-language chat prompts** directly in the editor, powered by the cgenius-daemon backend (Phases 1 + 2). A dedicated agentic-mode guide will be linked here once the UI/UX layer ships and is documented.

## 🤖 AI Quota Types Explained

### Premium AI Quota

Used for longer content generation:

- OTTO Topic Maps — **20 units** per map (uses OTTO AI-suggestions quota)
- Content Genius — **3 units** per AI article generated
- Standalone Topical Map — **3 units** per map generated

### Regular AI Quota

Used for shorter content generation:

- Content Outline (AI writer)
- Terms Insertion (Content Genius)
- Links Insertion (Content Genius)
- Content Ideas tool
- Meta Generator tool
- Company Global Background (AI writer)
- AI Templates

## 💳 AI Quota Allocation & Top-Ups

### 🔁 How Quota Is Allocated

Your AI quota (Articles, Target Keywords, Regular AI units, and Premium AI units) is allocated at the start of each **billing cycle** and refreshes monthly. Unused subscription quota does **not** roll over.

### 🆚 Subscription Quota vs. Top-Up Credits

**Subscription quota** is included in your plan and resets every billing cycle. **Top-up credits** are purchased separately, stack on top of your subscription quota, and remain on your account until consumed — they do **not** reset each cycle.

### ⏳ If a Top-Up Doesn't Appear Immediately

Top-up purchases can be delayed by cache or sync lag. If any workflow shows **Quota Exhausted** right after a purchase:

1. Do a **hard refresh** (Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + R) on the Content Genius tab.
2. Wait a few minutes for the top-up to propagate.
3. Re-open the workflow and confirm your quota has updated.

### 🆘 Quota Still Not Reflected After 15 Minutes

Contact **support** with your **purchase confirmation** (order ID or receipt). The team can manually reconcile credits and reset the quota counter on your account.

### How Content Genius Analyzes Your Topic

Content Genius searches your target keyword in Google, analyzes the top 20 ranking pages, and returns competitor metrics—DR, Content Score, Schema, internal/external links, heading structure (H1/H2/H3), and word count—plus a **Relevant Terms** (NLP entities) grid to guide your optimization.

### Visual Enhancements (Optional)

- **"Add Hero" button**: select an AI-generated or stock hero image before publishing. Generated images are **watermark-free**; hero images with **embedded text** are treated as a ranking signal (per internal research on searchatlas.com blog posts), so the editor prioritizes text-bearing hero variants in its suggestions.

## What does "the service-page internal linking came back empty" mean in Content Genius?

When Content Genius adds internal links, it takes the available links from your Brand Vault. It does not use the links deployed in your OTTO project.

If a note says the service-page internal linking came back empty from the automated tool, it means that automated step did not find any additional service-page links that fit the article. This is not a technical error. It often happens when the article already contains a good number of internal links, because Content Genius prioritizes relevant, contextual links over using every service-page URL.

A technical error would look different, for example the AI failing to run, stopping unexpectedly or showing an explicit error message. If that happens, contact us through live chat.

### How do I make Content Genius use specific service-page links?

Add your preferred service-page URLs to your prompt, or add them to your Brand Vault. When you give the URLs, the AI can use them instead of guessing which links to insert.
